Who are you?

I'm Kai Kiriyama, the Raggedy Author. I am an independent/self-pub/creator owned author. I strive to write a little of everything so there's always something for someone.

What are we doing here?

I'm selling signed paperbacks through this site because it's easier this way to maintain store inventory and make sure that all orders are processed in a timely manner.

Why am I paying so much for shipping?

I'm charging the barest minimum I can charge to cover costs of shipping out of Canada and making sure that your books aren't damaged. The cost covers shipping + materials. I send everything by Canada Post, standard mail. It takes anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks to arrive, depending on where it's going. 

What is your return policy?

Well, unfortunately, once you've asked for a signed and personalized book, I can't really do much to return it. If it's not personalized, we can do a return within 2 weeks, but you have to cover return shipping costs. I will refund the book costs as long as the book is undamaged and not personalized.

When do you ship?

I make a trip to the post office once a week, usually on Monday. If there's no orders that week, I don't go. It's pretty straightforward. If you order something on a Wednesday, your order will be shipped on the following Monday. If you order something on a Monday morning before I go to the post office, I can usually get your order shipped the same day.
